1. Introduction
Welcome to MoneyNova ("MoneyNova", "we", "our", or "the App").
MoneyNova is an expense and personal money tracking application designed to help users organize expenses, income, bills, goals, budgets, tasks, reminders and other personal records.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MoneyNova.
2. Information You Enter Into MoneyNova
Depending on the features you use, you may enter information such as:
- Income and expense records
- Expense categories
- Budgets
- Bills and payment reminders
- Financial goals
- Tasks and reminders
- Habits and routines
- Notes
- Grocery or personal lists
- Profile preferences
- App settings
MoneyNova does not require you to create a MoneyNova online account to use its core personal tracking functionality.
Information entered into these features is primarily stored locally on your device.
3. Financial Information
MoneyNova may contain financial information that you manually enter, such as transaction amounts, income, expenses, bills, budgets and savings goals.
MoneyNova is a personal record-keeping and expense tracking application. It is not a bank, payment processor, lender, investment service or financial institution.
We do not require users to provide online banking usernames, banking passwords, debit card PINs or credit card credentials to use MoneyNova's core expense tracking functionality.
4. Local Storage
MoneyNova stores app records and preferences locally on your device so that the App can provide its features.
Examples may include:
- Transactions and expense history
- Budgets and financial goals
- Bills and reminders
- Tasks, habits and notes
- Theme and appearance settings
- App configuration and preferences
Local data generally remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear the App's storage, uninstall the App, or restore/replace it through a backup.
5. Backup, Export and Import
MoneyNova may provide options that allow you to export, import or back up your data.
When you manually export or back up information, you control where that exported file is stored or shared.
For example, if you save a backup to another storage provider, cloud service, computer or other location, that service may process the file according to its own privacy policy.
You are responsible for protecting exported backup files, especially when they contain personal or financial records.
6. Advertising
MoneyNova may display advertisements using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads.
Google and its advertising technology may automatically process certain information for purposes such as displaying ads, measuring advertising performance, analytics, preventing fraud, detecting abuse and improving advertising services.
Depending on your device, region, consent choices and configuration, information processed by Google's advertising services may include:
- IP address
- General or approximate location derived from an IP address
- App interactions such as app launches, taps or ad interactions
- Diagnostic and performance information
- Advertising identifiers
- App Set ID or similar device/app identifiers

7. Personalized and Non-Personalized Ads
Depending on applicable law, your location, your device settings and your consent choices, advertising may be personalized, non-personalized, limited or otherwise restricted.
Where required, an advertising consent or privacy options interface may be provided so you can manage applicable choices.
Android also provides controls that may allow you to manage or reset advertising-related identifiers and privacy settings.
8. Third-Party Services
MoneyNova may use third-party technologies necessary to provide, maintain, secure or monetize the App.
These services may include:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads
- Google Play distribution and security services

9. How Information Is Used
Information processed through MoneyNova may be used to:

10. Sharing of Information
We do not sell the personal financial records that you manually enter into MoneyNova.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, legal process or a valid governmental request.
11. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to design MoneyNova with privacy and security in mind.
Because much of your MoneyNova information is stored locally, the security of your device is also important.
We recommend using appropriate device security such as a screen lock, PIN, password or biometric protection when available.
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Data Retention
Records stored locally by MoneyNova generally remain on your device until you remove them, clear application data, restore a different backup or uninstall the App.
Information processed independently by third-party services, including Google advertising services, may be retained according to those providers' respective retention policies.
13. Deleting Your MoneyNova Data
MoneyNova does not require an online MoneyNova account for its core functionality.
You can remove individual records using the App's available delete functions.
You may also remove locally stored MoneyNova information by clearing the App's storage/data through Android settings or by uninstalling MoneyNova.
Files that you previously exported or backed up outside MoneyNova must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.
14. Permissions
MoneyNova may request device permissions only when they are required to provide a feature that uses that permission.
Permission availability and behavior can vary depending on your Android version and device.
You can review or change app permissions from your Android device settings.
15. Children's Privacy
MoneyNova is a general-purpose personal money management and productivity application and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children through a MoneyNova account system.
